Terms & Conditions

Effective: July 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and OmmaBee (OmmaBee LLC) governing your access to and use of the OmmaBee mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Governing law: State of California, USA.

Part I — General Terms

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service — or by tapping "I agree," "Sign up," "Post," "Publish," or a similar control — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who Can Use OmmaBee

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally able to enter this agreement. You may use the Service as an individual or on behalf of a business or organization; if you act for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

To use most features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. An email address is required; a phone number is optional and used only if you choose to provide it.

3.2 Security

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at contact@ommabee.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3.3 One Person, Real Identity

You agree not to impersonate any person or business, create accounts by automated means, or maintain accounts in violation of these Terms.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, OmmaBee grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing service from the Service or its content, except as permitted by law.

5. OmmaBee's Intellectual Property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, name, logo, and original content — is owned by OmmaBee or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in OmmaBee's intellectual property except the limited license in Section 4. Content posted by users belongs to those users, subject to the license in Section 13.

6. OmmaBee Is a Venue, Not a Party

OmmaBee is a neighborhood discovery platform that helps people find and connect with one another and with local businesses. OmmaBee is not the buyer, seller, advertiser, agent, broker, or a party to any transaction, agreement, or interaction between users. We do not inspect, verify, endorse, appraise, or guarantee any item, service, business, user, post, or claim, and we do not take possession of, ship, deliver, or handle payment for items (unless a specific OmmaBee-operated feature expressly says otherwise). Any dispute is between the users involved, who agree to resolve it directly. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release OmmaBee from claims arising out of such disputes.

7. Contact, Privacy, and How Users Reach You

7.1 Messaging Happens in the App

Users contact one another through OmmaBee's in-app messaging. OmmaBee does not display or share your phone number with other users as part of standard messaging, and does not send SMS text messages on your behalf.

7.2 Individuals vs. Businesses

If you use OmmaBee as an individual, your contact details are not published unless you choose to add them. If you post as a business or organization, you may voluntarily publish contact information (such as a phone number, website, or social link) so customers can reach you — and by publishing it, you consent to it being displayed to other users.

7.3 Location Is Approximate

To protect users, OmmaBee displays only an approximate location for posts (for example, "within a mile") and does not publish a precise or exact address for individual posters. Businesses may choose to publish a specific address.

7.4 What You Choose to Share Is Your Responsibility

Any contact information, address, or personal detail you choose to include in the body of a post is published as you enter it and is your responsibility. Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; infringe others' rights; post or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, hateful, harassing, or harmful content; spam, scrape, or harvest other users' information; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or misuse messaging, contact information, or location data. We may investigate and take action — including removing content and suspending accounts — for any violation.

Part II — Posting & Listings

This Part applies to anyone who creates, submits, previews, publishes, or shares content on OmmaBee — whether posting as an individual or on behalf of a business or organization, and whether the post is a sale, rental, service offer, advertisement, announcement, community notice, or any other listing. In this Part, "Post" or "Listing" means any such content.

9. You Are Responsible for Your Post

You are solely responsible for everything in your Post, including its accuracy, completeness, legality, and how it is described. You represent and warrant that:

• The information you enter — including price, description, condition, quantity, availability, location, contact details, hours, and any claims you make — is true, accurate, and current.
• You own the item, or are authorized to offer the item, service, listing, or information, and the post is lawful where you and any responding user are located.
• Your Post does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and does not contain unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, hateful, or harmful content.
• Your photos and content are yours to post and accurately depict the actual item, service, or subject.

You — not OmmaBee — are responsible for honoring the price, offer, and terms you publish.

10. Prohibited Posts

You may not post or attempt to transact: illegal, stolen, recalled, counterfeit, or unsafe goods; weapons, ammunition, or explosives where prohibited; drugs, controlled substances, or related items; live animals where prohibited; adult or sexual content or services; anything you lack the right to offer; false or deceptive advertising; or anything that violates applicable law or our Community Guidelines. We may remove any Post and suspend any account at our discretion.

11. Automated Translation, Transcription, and AI Features

This section describes features central to how OmmaBee works. Read it carefully.

11.1 Convenience Features

OmmaBee may use automated translation, machine learning, large language models, voice-to-text transcription, summarization, categorization, and cross-language search to help neighbors discover and read Posts across languages. These features are provided as a convenience and on an "as is" / "as available" basis.

11.2 Your Original Is the Authoritative Version

The content you submit and approve in the language you wrote it ("Original Content") is the authoritative, binding version of your Post. Any translated, transcribed, summarized, or otherwise machine-generated version ("Derived Content") is provided only to help others find and understand your Post.

11.3 No Warranty of Accuracy

Automated translation and AI can make mistakes. OmmaBee does not warrant that Derived Content is accurate, complete, error-free, or faithful to your meaning. Derived Content is generated automatically and is identified to users as automated where displayed. Other users should rely on the Original Content and confirm any important detail directly with you before acting.

11.4 Structured Fields Are Not Translated

Key structured fields — including price, quantity, and contact information — are recorded and displayed as you enter them and are not altered by automated translation. You remain responsible for entering them correctly.

11.5 Your Approval and Adoption

If OmmaBee shows you a machine-generated version of your Post (for example, a rendering in another language) and you choose to publish or confirm it, you review, approve, and adopt that version as your own Content, and you are responsible for it as if you had written it yourself. You are encouraged to review any generated version before publishing.

11.6 Release for Automated Processing

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and will not hold OmmaBee liable for any loss, claim, or damage arising from errors, omissions, mistranslations, misinterpretations, or inaccuracies in Derived Content, automated transcription, AI categorization, or search results. This does not relieve you of responsibility for the accuracy of your Original Content.

12. In-Person Meetings and Safety

Meetings, pickups, deliveries, and services arranged through OmmaBee happen at your own risk. OmmaBee does not screen users and is not responsible for the conduct, safety, or honesty of any user, or for any injury, loss, theft, or damage arising from interactions, meetups, or transactions. Meet in public places, bring someone if you can, and trust your judgment.

13. License to Your Content

So that OmmaBee can run the Service and the features in Section 11, you grant OmmaBee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, translate, transcribe, adapt, reformat, and create derivative versions of your Content, for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving OmmaBee. This license ends when you delete your Content or your account, except for content already shared with others, retained in backups, or required to be kept by law.

14. Taxes and Compliance

You are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and paying any taxes, fees, licenses, or permits that apply to your sales, rentals, services, or business activity, and for complying with all laws that apply to you — including any advertising, licensing, or consumer-protection rules that apply to businesses.

Part III — Legal Terms

15. "As Is" Service; No Warranties

The Service and all features (including discovery, search, translation, messaging, and any maps or location features) are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free, or that search and discovery will surface any particular Post.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmmaBee and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your Posts, the Service, Derived Content, or any transaction or user interaction, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmmaBee's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid OmmaBee in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OmmaBee and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your Content or Posts; (b) your transactions or interactions with other users; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights.

18. Suspension, Termination, and Changes

We may modify, remove, or refuse any Post, and suspend or terminate any account or your access to the Service, at our discretion, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with an updated effective date, and your continued use after changes means you accept them. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 17, and 19) survive.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

20. Entire Agreement; Severability

These Terms, with the documents they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and OmmaBee about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

Appendix A — Short Publish-Screen Consent

By tapping Publish, I confirm that:

1. The details in my post — including the price, description, and any contact info — are accurate and mine to post.

2. I'm responsible for this post, and OmmaBee is just the platform, not the seller, advertiser, or a party to any deal.

3. I understand OmmaBee may show automated translations of my post to neighbors in other languages, that those translations are machine-generated and may not be perfect, and that my original wording is the version I stand behind.
